We celebrated the New Year at Arnold in the
Californian Gold Country and had a great time with Holly, Claire,
and Alex. Their cabin is in a lovely forest that is less than an
hour’s drive from Bear Valley Ski Resort.
On the last day of 2009 Julia, Alex, and I skied
at Bear Valley. Then we returned to the cabin to bring in the New
Year. We did not do anything too exciting, just played Hearts until
12:00 and then drank a glass of Champagne. But it was a great to
send off 2009 and bring in 2010 with good friends and family.
